Nakornping Hospital is a Chiang Mai Provincial General Hospital under the Ministry of Public Health and is located at 159 Moo 10, Donkaew Sub-district, Mae Rim District, Chiang Mai Province.
The hospital is situated on Chotana Road (Old Chiang Mai - Fang Rd) at Km 9, 5 kilometers from Chiang Mai Municipality and 7 kilometers from Mae Rim District Office.
The hospital got its current name on 28th September 1990 when the former name of “Chiang Mai Hospital” was changed to Nakornping Hospital.
The Outpatient and Inpatient Clinics first opened for service on 24th September, 1980. At that time, the hospital was able to take care of 75 patients out of the 160 total beds due to insufficient staff.
Later, the service was increased to 130 beds on 1st June, 1982
Currently, Nakornping Hospital is a Hospital Center and is a center of excellence for emergency care, heart, cancer and neonatal care medicine. Services 609 beds(excluding ICU) There are 190 physicians from all fields.
